Shipping & Returns

At Saavedra Instruments, we want purchasing and receiving your instrument to be straightforward. Each product is carefully inspected, tested, and packaged before shipment.

Shipping

Saavedra Instruments currently ships to addresses within the United States.

Orders are shipped to the address provided during checkout. Please review your shipping information carefully before submitting your order.

Once your order has shipped, tracking information will be provided when available.

Processing Times

Many Saavedra Instruments products are assembled, tested, and prepared in small production runs. Because of this, processing times may vary depending on current inventory and order volume.

Any estimated processing or shipping time shown on the product page is an estimate and is not a guaranteed delivery date.

If an unusual delay affects your order, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the email address provided with your purchase.

Shipping Charges

Applicable shipping charges will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional shipping costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your product arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, contact Saavedra Instruments as soon as possible through our Contact or Support page.

Please include your order information and a description of the problem. Photographs of the product and shipping package may be requested so we can determine the best way to resolve the issue.

If the problem resulted from shipping damage or an error by Saavedra Instruments, we will work with you to correct it.

Returns

We accept eligible returns requested within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return, the product must be returned in good condition with the original accessories and components included with the purchase.

Before returning any product, you must contact Saavedra Instruments to receive return instructions.

Please do not ship a product back without first contacting us.

Returns sent without authorization may experience delays in processing.

Return Shipping

For returns based on a change of mind or other reason unrelated to a product defect or an error by Saavedra Instruments, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

If the return is the result of an incorrect item, covered defect, or other error attributable to Saavedra Instruments, we will provide appropriate return instructions.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method and packaging the product securely. Customers may be responsible for damage occurring during return shipment when inadequate packaging is used.

Refunds

Once a returned product is received, it will be inspected.

If the return is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return resulted from an error by Saavedra Instruments or otherwise required by applicable law.

Please allow time for your bank, credit card company, or payment provider to process and post the refund after it has been issued.

Products That Have Been Modified or Damaged

Saavedra Instruments reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to deny or reduce a refund when a returned product has been materially damaged, altered, modified, abused, or is missing components as a result of the customer's actions.

Normal inspection and reasonable use necessary to evaluate the product will not by itself make a product ineligible for return.

Warranty Service

The return period and product warranty are separate.

A product that develops a covered hardware problem after the return period may still qualify for service under the Saavedra Instruments Limited Warranty.
