Last Updated: September 2026
Welcome to Saavedra Instruments. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Saavedra Instruments website and your purchase and use of products, services, downloads, firmware, manuals, and other materials provided through the website.
By accessing this website, placing an order, or using materials provided by Saavedra Instruments, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or purchase products through it.
1. About Saavedra Instruments
Saavedra Instruments designs and sells electronic musical instruments and related products, accessories, software, firmware, documentation, and resources.
Product features, specifications, availability, pricing, and other information may change as our products continue to be developed and improved.
2. Website Use
You may use this website for lawful personal and commercial purchasing purposes.
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to website systems, introduce malicious software, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the website in violation of applicable law.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website when reasonably necessary to protect Saavedra Instruments, our customers, or our services.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately.
However, photographs, screen images, colors, dimensions, specifications, finishes, packaging, and other product details displayed on the website may vary slightly from the actual product.
Saavedra Instruments may make reasonable changes or improvements to product design, components, construction, firmware, packaging, or specifications without prior notice, provided such changes do not materially alter the fundamental nature of the product sold.
4. Orders
Submitting an order does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.
Saavedra Instruments reserves the right to cancel or decline an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, product unavailability, payment problems, shipping restrictions, or errors in product information.
If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, the appropriate amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
5. Pricing and Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other charges will be displayed during checkout when required.
Prices and promotions may change without notice. A price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for.
Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers. Your use of those payment services may also be subject to the provider's applicable terms and privacy practices.
6. Shipping
Shipping availability, processing times, delivery estimates, and return procedures are described on our Shipping & Returns page.
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Saavedra Instruments is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, severe weather, natural disasters, transportation interruptions, or other unforeseen events.
7. Returns and Refunds
Eligible products may be returned according to the requirements described in our Shipping & Returns and Refund Policy pages.
Customers should contact Saavedra Instruments before returning a product and follow the return instructions provided.
Refunds, when approved, will generally be issued to the original payment method.
8. Limited Warranty
Saavedra Instruments hardware products may be covered by our Limited Warranty.
The applicable warranty terms, exclusions, procedures, and duration are described on our Warranty page.
The warranty and return period are separate. Expiration of the return period does not necessarily mean that applicable warranty coverage has ended.
9. Firmware and Software
Certain Saavedra Instruments products may contain or use firmware or software.
Saavedra Instruments may periodically provide firmware updates to correct issues, improve performance, modify functionality, or add features.
Firmware supplied by Saavedra Instruments is provided for use with compatible Saavedra Instruments products.
You may install and use official firmware for its intended purpose. You may not sell, redistribute, publish, sublicense, commercially exploit, or represent Saavedra Instruments firmware as your own except where expressly authorized by Saavedra Instruments or permitted by applicable law.
Installation of official Saavedra Instruments firmware according to the provided instructions does not, by itself, void the applicable hardware warranty.
10. Manuals, Documentation, and Downloads
Manuals, instructions, diagrams, photographs, graphics, firmware files, downloadable resources, and other materials provided through this website are owned by or licensed to Saavedra Instruments unless otherwise indicated.
These materials may be downloaded and used for their intended personal use with Saavedra Instruments products.
You may print a reasonable number of copies of product documentation for your own use.
Unless otherwise authorized, you may not reproduce these materials for commercial distribution, sell them, republish them as your own, or substantially reproduce them on another website or service.
11. Intellectual Property
The Saavedra Instruments name, product names, logos, website content, product designs, graphics, photographs, manuals, documentation, firmware, and other original materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, patent, or other intellectual-property laws, as applicable.
Nothing on this website grants ownership of Saavedra Instruments intellectual property to a website visitor or customer.
Purchase of a Saavedra Instruments product transfers ownership of the physical product purchased but does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property incorporated into or associated with that product.
12. Third-Party Equipment and Compatibility
Saavedra Instruments products may be designed to communicate or operate with MIDI devices, computers, storage media, musical instruments, audio equipment, or other third-party products.
We make reasonable efforts to support commonly used standards and compatible equipment, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every third-party device, cable, accessory, software application, storage device, operating system, or configuration.
Saavedra Instruments is not responsible for failures caused solely by incompatible, defective, improperly configured, or improperly connected third-party equipment.
13. User Data and Files
Some Saavedra Instruments products may allow users to create, save, import, export, or store musical information, MIDI data, projects, settings, or other files.
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important files and removable storage media.
To the extent permitted by law, Saavedra Instruments is not responsible for loss or corruption of user-created data unless caused by conduct for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
14. Proper Use of Products
Customers are responsible for using Saavedra Instruments products according to the supplied instructions and for using appropriate power supplies, cables, accessories, and connections.
Damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized modification, improper voltage, incorrect connections, liquid exposure, abuse, or other excluded conditions may not be covered by the product warranty.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Saavedra Instruments will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our website or products.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations or exclusions of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
16. Privacy
Your use of the Saavedra Instruments website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information may be collected, used, disclosed, and protected.
17. Electronic Communications
When you place an order, contact us electronically, or provide an email address, you consent to receive electronic communications reasonably necessary to process your transaction, provide customer service, communicate warranty or safety information, and administer your relationship with Saavedra Instruments.
Promotional email communications are subject to the choices and unsubscribe provisions described in our Privacy Policy.
18. Changes to These Terms
Saavedra Instruments may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our products, services, website, business practices, or applicable law.
Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Changes will apply prospectively as required by applicable law and will not retroactively eliminate rights that have already accrued.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
