Saavedra Instruments Product Warranty
Saavedra Instruments stands behind the quality and workmanship of our products. Every product is carefully assembled and tested before shipment to help ensure that it performs as intended when it reaches you.
One-Year Limited Warranty
Saavedra Instruments warrants its hardware products to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
If a product develops a covered defect during the warranty period, Saavedra Instruments will, at its discretion, repair the product, replace defective components, or replace the product with an equivalent product.
Warranty service is provided without charge for covered parts and labor. Shipping costs associated with warranty service may be the responsibility of the customer as permitted by applicable law.
What Is Covered
This limited warranty covers defects resulting from normal use of the product, including failures of internal electronic components, controls, displays, connectors, switches, or other hardware when the failure is determined to be the result of defective materials or workmanship.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
Accidents, drops, impacts, abuse, misuse, or neglect
Liquid, moisture, fire, excessive heat, or other environmental damage
Improper power supplies, incorrect voltage, electrical surges, or improper connections
Unauthorized modifications, repairs, alterations, or disassembly
Damage caused by equipment or accessories not supplied or approved for use with the product
Normal cosmetic wear, scratches, discoloration, or other appearance changes that do not affect operation
Loss or corruption of data stored on SD cards or other removable storage media
Problems caused solely by third-party MIDI equipment, cables, storage media, software, or other external devices
Firmware and Software
Saavedra Instruments may periodically release firmware updates that improve operation, correct issues, or add functionality.
Firmware and software are provided for use with compatible Saavedra Instruments hardware. Because software environments and connected third-party equipment can vary, the warranty does not guarantee compatibility with every external MIDI device, computer, storage device, or third-party product.
Installing official firmware provided by Saavedra Instruments according to the supplied instructions does not void your hardware warranty.
Obtaining Warranty Service
If you believe your product requires warranty service, please contact Saavedra Instruments through our Support or Contact page before returning the product.
Please provide your name, order information, product model, and a description of the problem. We may ask you to perform basic troubleshooting before authorizing a return.
Do not send a product to Saavedra Instruments without first receiving return instructions.
If a return is required, the product should be packaged securely to prevent damage during shipping.
Repairs Outside the Warranty Period
If your product is outside the warranty period, you are still encouraged to contact us. When practical, Saavedra Instruments may offer repair service or replacement parts for a reasonable charge.
Availability of repair service and replacement components will depend on the product, the nature of the problem, and parts availability.
Limitation of Warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this limited warranty is the exclusive express warranty provided by Saavedra Instruments for its hardware products.
Saavedra Instruments is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use a product, except where such limitations are prohibited by law.
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
Your Legal Rights
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Nothing in this warranty is intended to limit any rights provided to consumers under applicable federal, state, or local law.
